Prairie Welcome Pear Tree produces green-yellow pears for fresh eating, canning and preserves. White spring blossoms and green summer foliage give this vigorous, upright tree ornamental appeal alongside its early-September fruit harvest.
Plant Prairie Welcome in full sun as a fruiting accent, shade tree or addition to a home orchard. Its foliage turns burgundy in fall, extending its seasonal interest beyond harvest. Pair it with an Early Gold Pear Tree for pollination.
