Juliet Cherry is a cold-hardy Romance Series cherry with large, dark burgundy fruit and a rich, sweet flavour for fresh eating. Its approximately 5-gram cherries have small pits and plenty of flesh, making a handful picked straight from the branches a rewarding summer treat.
Plant Juliet in full sun as a compact fruiting addition to your prairie garden. It is self-pollinating, so another cherry variety is not required for fruit production. Spring blooms give way to a dense canopy of glossy green leaves, followed by golden yellow fall colour. Its upright, multi-stemmed form can be maintained as a small tree.
